Does the job I wanted it for, works great so far with 4 laptops and 1 desktop connected.
Up until this year though I have only have 1 or two items pluged into it at a time, but now I am using all 8 ports all the time, no collisions or failed transfers. I have been using this Linksys Switch for over 3 years and have never ran into a issue. All my transfers complete without fail. Might be that because I got one of the first generation of this model that mine is a higher quality than the people that have had failed ones. Or im just lucky.
I got the Linksys EZXS88W to replace an old, well used Netgear 4 port switch. The EZXS88W switch hasn't missed a beat and my traffic is now much heavier. The Netgear switch had worked flawlessly for years but I now needed more ports. I just swapped the switches, plugged in the additional ethernet devices and, Walla., no problems. Good product, good price. Well done Linksys.
